Petite Sirah
Petite Sirah (also called Durif) is a bold, inky-black red grape created in the 1860s by French botanist François Durif as an accidental cross between Syrah and the obscure Peloursin, now most famous in California for producing intensely colored, full-bodied, peppery, and tannic wines with dark fruit and excellent ageing potential. Suggested pairings grilled ribeye, shakshuka with sausage, and Axis burgers.
Our 2023 Petite Sirah is a bold, inky, and juicy wine, exhibiting the boldness of Texas.
