Albariño
Albarino (Albariño in Spanish, Alvarinho in Portuguese) is an aromatic, thick-skinned white grape native to the cool, Atlantic-influenced Galicia region of northwest Spain and northern Portugal’s Vinho Verde, celebrated for producing vibrant, high-acid wines bursting with peach, citrus, and saline minerality. Suggested pairings include grilled pork carnitas, chicken fried steak, grilled Gulf shrimp.
